DESCRIPTION:
Suspected blown gasket on this truck. I have not repaired it. Long story short; truck never had a problem. Well maintained throughout. Check engine light comes on in Dec xxxx, truck starts to vibrate-take it to the mechanic, mechanic says Cyl #4. Suspects it needs a tune-up. We give it a tune-up. Vibrations still present but no check engine light. One week later, check engine light back on - take it to mechanic - rule out coil paks. Dont know whats wrong, driving down the road, truck begins to overheat - take it to the dealer, dealer says: "found coolant 1 gal low, top off, EEC test Pxxxx-Pxxxx, Pxxxx. Misfire #4 cylinder and cylinder over temp condition. Perform ignition sys diagnosis verify misfire #4 cyl on power balance, perform relative compression test pass, DCL PID Moniter test no fuel inj faults. Perform Bock test, failed fluid changed from blue to yellow, signs of exhaust in coolant. Possible head or head gasket concern." .It has 164,125 miles. I dont have the money to fix it. I am intending to sell it for the King Ranch parts or person can fix gaskets/replace engine for $xxxx and have truck at below Blue Book value. Body is Plum color wTan trim and in "Good" condition. Kelly BB says value to private party in Fair Condition would be $9,173 - $9,930 in Good condition.Very few dings. There is some scratched paint on the roof near the rear window and the running boards are a little scuffed up. Some minor scratches near the door locks. Some wear on the front seats where the heaters are. Sunroof had a leak years ago, but thats been fixed. I have a standing offer for $xxxx on this truck, but I would like a little more for it.
